Rebetika LIVE with Jan Verdonk & Hugo Strötbaum on Hellas Pindakaas! Jan is Dutch but he speaks Greek, he reads Greek poetry, he adores rebetika and he plays bouzouki! Hugo is Dutch, of German origin, he also speaks Greek, he was a teacher of Turkish back in the day, and together with Takis Sideris, Henk van Woerden and Jan Verdonk played rebetika in Holland in the 80’s, under the name “Pseutis Dounias”.
