Queer radio with Jennifer Hopelezz & Banana Mouskouri – Listen on demand

Jennifer Hopelezz spills the T with BaNana Mouskouri

Queer radio with Jennifer Hopelezz and BaNana Mouskouri
Hellas Pindakaas presents: Queer radio with Jennifer Hopelezz and BaNana Mouskouri. The history and future of drag, what it takes to be a drag mother, LGBTQI – what’s in a long acronym, Amsterdam city, House of Hopelezz, being a mayor, homophobia vs genophobia and some cute Greek gossip. This is not an interview. It’s a warm and honest on-air discussion about labels, rights, community, city, gender, and freedom. Whether you call him Jennifer Hopelezz, or Richard, matters a little. Whether Mike dresses up like BaNana Mouskouri sometimes, or oftentimes, it provokes nobody, it should concern nobody, it is simply a matter of choice and diversity. Everything else is bigotry and fear.

Richard Keldoulis, aka Jennifer Hopelezz, and Mike Klianis, aka BaNana Mouskouri, were in the studio last Thursday. You know them both. They are returning champions on Hellas Pindakaas. This time around, they came back for a special queer radio session, where the legendary drag mother Jennifer Hopelezz was interviewed by ingénue drag queen BaNana Mouskouri. This time around, we dug a little deeper and tried to shed light on all things queer, all things drag, all things Amsterdam and LGBTQ rights. Listen without prejudice!
