Ken Loach: “The programme of austerity is killing us”

 

On Sunday May 22nd, the 69th Cannes Film Festival reached its end, with Ken Loach being the winner of the Palme d’Or prize.

The legendary director, after winning the competition with the film “I, Daniel Blake”, made some critical comments against austerity, bureaucracy and neo-liberalism in the European Union, but also spoke about Greece’s situation.
